Creating the “best” dry rub recipe is subjective as different people have varying tastes and preferences. However, I can provide you with a versatile and flavorful dry rub recipe that can be used for various types of meat, such as chicken, pork, beef, or even vegetables. Feel free to adjust the ingredients according to your personal taste:

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 whole large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Topping
- 12 oz milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
Set the oven to 350°F.
With the use of an electric mixer, combine the softened butter, both types of sugar, and peanut butter. It should come together and be fluffy and airy.
Add the eggs and vanilla, blending well after each addition.
Oats, flour, baking powder, and salt should all be added at this point.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or just until the sides are brown and the center is firm after pressing into a 13 by 9 inch baking pan.
Remove from oven, then allow it cool a bit.
Put the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 60 seconds to make the topping. When the chocolate is totally melted, remove and stir.
Pour over the bars, then level out the mixture.
After the chocolate has hardened, serve!
